Stepping Stones of Rockford is ready to celebrate #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement.

Stepping Stones of Rockford seeks to inspire YOUR generosity by inviting you to take part in our "Salting-for-Safety" project as part of #GivingTuesday. Did you know we have two office buildings, a garage, five group homes, two apartment complexes, four apartment buildings and a 44-person site for those 50 and over? That's a lot of plowing and salting to ensure client, staff and visitor safety. Oh, if we only had a new Western Low Pro 300 Wireless Tailgate Salt Spreader to do the job...

Okay, so hoping for a new tail gait salt spreader isn't exactly glamorous, but it's a great way to show that you're salt of the earth! We want to keep clients, visitors and staff as safe as possible. No slipping or sliding for us. A salt spreader will allow our small-but-mighty buildings and ground crew to spread salt in our parking areas via this contraption, instead of by hand!

Stepping Stones knows that there are countless agencies taking part in #GivingTuesday. We honor everyone who gives in some form or fashion during this global event. We hope you'll consider making a donation, no matter how large or small, no matter the agency or project. After all, we're all in this together! Of course, we hope you'll keep Stepping Stones in mind on on #GivingTuesday.
