By now, we hope you've heard about the new Stepping Stones Counseling Center. Ever since it officially opened, we've been preparing for YOUR arrival.We are tickled pink to provide opportunity for everyone to come take a look at the new location for this new adventure.

Stepping Stones of Rockford is proud to announce it will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House to give the public an opportunity to tour our new outpatient Counseling Center. The event will be held, during nationally recognized Mental Health Month, on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by tours of the facility.

About the Counseling Center: The Counseling Center serves children aged six and older, adolescents and adults with severe emotional disturbances or serious mental illnesses, and their families. The center was made possible by a generous grant from the Winnebago County Community Mental Health Board (WCCMHB), whose funding is generated by a voter approved 1/2 cent sales tax to help fund mental health and substance abuse services throughout Winnebago County. Services at the center include: Comprehensive Assessment and Individualized Treatment; On-Site and Tele-Psychiatry; Individual and Family Counseling and Case Management. Services are prioritized for those who are eligible for Medicaid but are available to anyone in need who qualifies. To schedule an assessment or make a referral, please call 779-970-5605.
